‘I Told You to Love Me’: Rhode Island Man Faces Charges in Boston Woman Cyberstalking Case

A Rhode Island man is facing criminal charges after prosecutors say he carried out an 18-month cyberstalking campaign targeting a Boston woman through multiple social media platforms. Authorities say the alleged online harassment included repeated messages, threats, and attempts to obtain personal information about the victim.

The suspect, identified as Space Vixaisak, 23, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, was arraigned on charges of stalking and violating a harassment prevention order. A judge ordered him to stay away from the victim and her family as the case moves forward.

Victim Says Harassment Started Through Social Media

According to prosecutors, the investigation began after Boston police received a report from a 20-year-old woman in December 2025. She told officers that someone using the online name “Space Vegas” had allegedly been harassing her since February 2025 across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook.

The woman told police she had never met or interacted with the person behind the accounts, who was later identified as Vixaisak. Investigators say the alleged contact continued despite the victim blocking numerous accounts.

Hundreds of Accounts Allegedly Used to Contact Victim

Authorities said the woman reported blocking more than 700 TikTok accounts and more than 200 Instagram accounts that she believed were connected to the alleged harassment. Police later used location information from social media accounts to help identify the person behind them, prosecutors said.

Investigators allege that the suspect continued creating ways to communicate with the victim even after being blocked.

Messages Allegedly Included Threatening Language

Prosecutors said police collected screenshots of messages allegedly sent to the victim, including statements such as: “I told you to love me … now you’re going to have to watch your back every time.”

Authorities also said messages were allegedly sent to the victim’s family, including statements that caused concern for the victim’s safety.

Personal Information Allegedly Obtained

The victim told investigators that the person behind the accounts had allegedly obtained private details, including her phone number, her parents’ phone numbers, her home address, and information about her school.

Prosecutors also said the suspect allegedly created a profile pretending to be the victim in an attempt to collect information from one of her friends.

Harassment Prevention Order Issued, But Contact Allegedly Continued

In January 2026, the victim obtained a harassment prevention order. Prosecutors allege that contact continued afterward, which led to an additional charge for violating the court order.

A judge later ordered Vixaisak to follow the existing protection order and have no contact with the woman or her family. He is scheduled to return to court for a pretrial hearing.

Previous Cyberstalking Case Mentioned by Prosecutors

Officials said Vixaisak had previously been charged with cyberstalking another victim in Rhode Island in 2021. According to prosecutors, that case resulted in one year of probation and participation in a mental health program.

Officials Warn About Online Harassment Risks

Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden said the case shows how social media can be misused when online activity becomes threatening or invasive. He emphasized that people should be able to use digital platforms without fear of harassment.

Law enforcement agencies continue encouraging people who experience online threats, stalking, or harassment to document messages and report concerning behavior.

Investigation Continues as Court Case Moves Forward

The charges against Vixaisak remain allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. The case will continue as prosecutors and defense attorneys present their arguments.

Digital Harassment Case Raises Safety Concerns

A Rhode Island man’s arrest in connection with an alleged cyberstalking campaign against a Boston woman has highlighted growing concerns about online harassment and digital safety. Authorities say the investigation uncovered months of alleged unwanted contact and threats across social media platforms.

As the legal process continues, the case serves as a reminder that online actions can have serious real-world consequences.
