Dunstable Fire Department ~ Now Hiring Call Firefighters

The Dunstable Fire Department is seeking candidates for the position of On Call Firefighter.  Call Firefighters are paid hourly per call and for monthly training sessions.  Additional opportunities include per diem shifts, details, and additional station coverage such as overnight storm coverage.  Pro board Firefighter 1 & 2 training at the Massachusetts Fire Academy and certification as an Emergency Medical Responder provided to the candidate at no charge.  Interested persons with current Firefighter 1 & 2 certification highly encouraged to apply. 

Minimum Requirements:                                                  

• 18-65 Years of Age.
• Must reside in town or within 2 miles of the town boarders.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Non-Smoker.
• Pass a background check and CORI.
• Pass Pre-Employment Medical Physical.
• Successful Completion of Massachusetts Fire Academy Call/Vol Recruit Academy within 1 year.
• Successful completion of Emergency Medical First Responder training within 1 year.
